AArambh began with conversations between Paul John and The Cask Circle about what an enthusiast-led whisky collaboration could become.
Nearly two years of discussion, exploration and deliberation followed.
The objective was not simply to find another whisky to release. It was to select a cask that reflected how far Indian single malt had come and the kind of whisky culture The Cask Circle wanted to help build.
The result was AArambh.

The cask was independently selected by The Cask Circle, with the community behind the release well before the whisky was bottled.

When I started The Cask Circle, I simply wanted to bring people together over good drinks, great conversations, and a shared curiosity to learn. Over time, every tasting, event, and every person we’ve met has made this journey what it is today. Aarambh feels like a very special next step for us—a chance to celebrate whisky differently and, hopefully, change the way India discovers, chooses, and celebrates great whisky.

Aarambh By Paul John Whisky for The Cask Circle feels particularly significant. The fact that all 180 bottles found their homes before the whisky was even bottled speaks volumes about how far Indian whisky has come. We are no longer simply crafting whisky for the world to discover; we are creating whiskies that India is proud to collect, celebrate, and call its own.
